Now active in nearly 70 countries and territories, IYF has worked with hundreds of companies, foundations, and NGO's to scale up existing programs and build long-term strategic partnerships. IYF also serves as the international partner and global secretariat of ELSA.

Ayala Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to help the underprivileged Filipinos. For over 40 years, the foundation has implemented social development projects, environmental programs, information technology, schools, and enriching through arts and culture. Ayala Foundation Serves as the national implementing partner and Philippine secretariat of ELSA. It also spearheads the youth leadership training and development program for high school students in Mindanao.

Consuelo Foundation manages over 90 programs in Hawaii and the Philippines, aimed at improving the quality of lifeof disadvantaged children, women, and families. Consuelo Foundation brings in its expertise in reintegrating out of school youth into the peaceful and productive economy through the Alternative Learning System, Integrated Technical Education, and Youth Civic Engagement program.

PETRON FOUNDATIONPETRON FOUNDATION

Petron Foundation focuses on improving the welfare of communities and status of the environment. This is done through the delivery of programs in education, the environment, health and human services, culture, and the arts. Petron Foundation brings in to ELSA its award-winning education program packages which include the Tulong Aral scholarship program, Petron School classroom construction program and reading program.

PHILIPPINE BUSINESS FOR SOCIAL PROGRESSPHILIPPINE BUSINESS FOR SOCIAL PROGRESS

Founded in 1970, PBSP is a non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting the business sector's commitment to social development. PBSP leads farmers, fisherfolks, rural workers and urban poor to self-sufficiency. Through ELSA, PBSP contributes to the development of local schools through training for PTCA and administrators, local school boards development, scholarship and nutrition programs, and textbook and classroom construction program.

ELSA's Programs



SCHOOL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITIES DEVELOPMENTSCHOOL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT

ELSA help equip schools in Mindanao by building classrooms, school desks, and water systems. The Alliance also brings library materials, science equipment, and audio-visual technologies to beneficiary schools. This is to expand the students' knowledge, enrich their learning experience, thus providing quality education. This interventions aim to improve child's learning environment and enrich their learning experience.


SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS & SUPPORT OF HEALTH IMPROVEMENTSCHOLARSHIP GRANTS & SUPPORT OF HEALTH IMPROVEMENT

Students from low-income families benefit from various educational assistance packages designed to increase participation rate of students and decrease the number of drop-outs. Some packages include scholarship grants starting from Grade 1 until students graduate in Grade 6. ELSA also provides some health improvement programs to aid malnourished students through feeding and de-worming.


LEADERSHIP AND YOUTH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMLEADERSHIP AND YOUTH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM

ELSA develops the leadership potential of in-school and out-of-school youth leaders. Through trainings, they are provided with concepts and skills in leadership as well as in planning, implementing and assessing projects. They are also given opportunities to implement community projects.


ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEMALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM

ELSA contributes to the delivery of the Department of Education's Alternative Learning System through local partners in Mindanao. Out-of-School youth obtain the chance to learn and be prepared to go back to formal school through community-based learning and life skills development.


INTEGRATED TECHNICAL EDUCATIONINTEGRATED TECHNICAL EDUCATION

ELSA through its partner organizations, universities and training institutions offer a wide-range of technical courses to fit the needs of its out-of-school youth beneficiaries. This program intends to help them gain skills for employment or self-employment. Every course is packages with life-skills and entrepreneurship training.
