Field Orientation sets the stage for ELSA 2
Koronodal City, March 25,2008- Carrying the message of “One Heart, One Dream, One Team,” the Education and Livelihood Skills Alliance (ELSA), under USAID’s Education Quality and Access for Learning and Livelihood Skills (EQuALLS) program, held a field orientation activity at the Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) for its second phase of operations.

The Education and Livelihood Skills Alliance (ELSA) officially started its second operational phase on March 1, 2008, under the Education Quality and Access for Learning and Livelihood Skills (EQuALLS), an education program initiated by the USAID.

Twenty-three year old Jay Jannatin has a healing touch.
A young reflexologist in Basilan, Jay is a graduate of ELSA's Integrated Technical Education program in Basilan, Mindanao. A 10-month program for the out of school youth, courses include Reflexology, Hair Science, Garments, Electronics, Food Technology, and Welding. Consuelo Foundation's Alternative Learning System program and Life Skills Training are integrated throughout the course to develop well-rounded youth fit for employment.
